Damiana Garcia At Lucha VaVoom

Lady reporter Damiana Garcia was thrilled to attend the Lucha VaVoom burlesque lucha libre spectacular when the touring show passed through LA at the Mayan Theater. Damiana got to chat backstage with VaVoom co-founders Rita D’Albert and Liz Fairbairn, gorgeous featured performers Karis Wilde, Lucy Fur, The Poubelle Twins and Moana Santana, fabulous “short and spicy” luchador Cassandro, little people luchadors Lil’ Devil and Lil’ Chicken, and hilarious co-emcee Dana Gould.  Drew Carey made a cameo on the emcee panel, as well. Damiana also took in the show, with its outrageous, incredible wrestling matches, an aerial performance by The Wau Wau Sisters and Leigh Acosta taking pole dancing to new heights, literally!
